Learn how to alleviate neck and shoulder pain with postures that release muscular and mental tension, increase circulation and decrease inflammation. This workshop is meant for those who hold tension in the neck and shoulder area from sports, desk work, playing instruments, creating artwork, injuries, etc. Four months of prior Iyengar yoga experience is recommended.
Kelly Sobanski is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher at the Intermediate Junior III level. She has studied six months at the Iyengar Institute in Pune, India and cultivated experiential knowledge directly from BKS Iyengar, Geeta and Abhijata.
Kelly has been assisting in Lois Steinberg’s therapy classes at the Iyengar Yoga Champaign-Urbana Studio for six years in which she has worked with many students with intricate and in-depth obstacles. Kelly inspires practitioners to cultivate wisdom, intuition, and luminance through the endless learning that yoga unveils.
