Jill McGowan

Jill received her Pilates training and certification though Body Arts and Science (BASI) Pilates, a leading Pilates education academy. She is also a fully certified CoreAlign instructor through Balanced Body Pilates and has taken numerous continuing education courses on a wide variety of topics. She is particularly interested in posture and walking mechanics and has completed training in these areas with several esteemed researchers and educators in the Pilates world, including Karen Clippinger, Dr. Christine Romani-Ruby, and Nancy Myers.

Jill loves discovering and sharing the empowerment of knowing how the body moves and how it can move better. She believes that Pilates is a wonderful complement to many movement practices, including yoga!

In her free time, Jill gardens, sews, and makes miniatures.
